Overview PrimaryMD is redefining modern primary care for high-achieving professionals and their families through concierge medicine, advanced diagnostics, and personal relationships. We're an early-stage company with a strong product, growing physician network, and initial revenue—but we're starting marketing from scratch. No established channels, no proven playbook. We have a brand book and a mission anchored in "The Human Advantage": empathy powered by precision. As we expand in New York, we're seeking a passionate, experienced marketer to roll up their sleeves, experiment relentlessly, and build our marketing engine from the ground up to get our name out there.
Responsibilities
- Brand & Strategy: Evolve our brand voice using our existing brand book, test positioning that feels luxurious, aspirational, and credible for high-net-worth audiences. Figure out what resonates through rapid iteration.
- Content & Storytelling: Set up and manage social media (Instagram, LinkedIn) from zero; guide physicians in building authentic personal brands; handle creative production like photoshoots, videos, and content calendars—hands-on or with minimal freelancers.
- Growth & Performance: Launch and optimize digital ads (Meta, Google, LinkedIn), email marketing (e.g., via HubSpot/Klaviyo), and CRM to drive member acquisition and retention. Track metrics, pivot on what doesn't work, and scale winners.
- Community & Partnerships: Leverage your NY network for in-person events, collaborations with wellness/fitness/lifestyle brands, and thought-leadership opportunities to build local buzz.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years in marketing, with hands-on experience in health/wellness, startups, or consumer services—ideally marketing high-ticket offerings like boutique fitness or hospitality.
- A jack-of-all-trades: Proven ability to strategize and execute (e.g., write ad copy, set up campaigns, analyze data) in resource-constrained environments.
- Existing relationships in NYC's health, wellness, or media ecosystem to hit the ground running.
- Fluent in tools like Meta/Google Ads, email platforms, analytics—bonus for SEO or content tools.
- Deep passion for health, wellness, and longevity; committed to the grind—willing to work late nights, test ideas fast, and own outcomes in a founder-led team.
- Excellent communicator who thrives on ambiguity and building from nothing.
Compensation
- Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 (base, commensurate with experience)
- Travel and event expenses covered.
Location In-person, NYC office. Reports directly to CEO; collaborate with physicians and ops in a small, agile team.
