    Role Overview: As the Head of People, you will be pivotal in shaping our organizational culture, employee engagement, and human resources strategy. You will lead all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws across various jurisdictions.

    What You'll Do:

    • Leadership in HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals, focusing on employee well-being, retention, and development in a remote setting.
    • Culture and Engagement: Champion our company culture; design and implement programs to boost team cohesion, morale, and engagement across different time zones.
    • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent. Innovate in sourcing strategies to address the unique challenges of remote hiring.
    • Performance Management: Establish frameworks for performance evaluations, feedback, and recognition in a remote context, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Learning & Development: Identify and facilitate professional development opportunities to support career growth for all employees.
    • Compliance and HR Operations: Ensure all HR practices are compliant with international, federal, and state labor laws. Manage HR systems and tools to streamline processes like benefits administration, and leave management.
    • Conflict Resolution: Handle employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.
    • Policy Management: Build new and update existing HR policies and procedures to fit our remote workforce.

    What You'll Bring:

    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry with experience managing remote teams.

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications are a plus.

    • Skills: * Strong understanding of remote work dynamics and HR technology. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proven track record in talent management and organizational development. * Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions. * Knowledge of employment law in various countries or willingness to learn.
