OVERVIEW:
As the Head of People & Talent, you will be SILTT's senior-most people leader, responsible for building and scaling our entire People function. This is a unique opportunity to act as our foundational HR leader, shaping every aspect of the employee experience. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will be the architect of our culture and the strategic driver behind all people-related functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, policy, office culture, and learning & development. You are not just growing and leading a department; you are building the heart of our organization and creating an environment where our talented team can do their best work.
WHO WE ARE:
At SILTT we’re pushing the limits of infrastructure innovation in the Telecommunications and Information Technology industry. From delivering world-class modular data center facilities to all-hours, 365-day operational response and disaster recovery, our multi-functional team of experts are force multipliers across the infrastructure landscape. We pride ourselves in leading from the front to advise, assist, and accompany our clients through their toughest technological and operational challenges. We always deliver results (spelled “re-SILTTs”)!
WHY SILTT?
At SILTT, “objective-driven” means first being “people-driven”. As a small business we know that the ability to achieve our mission demands we take care of our own by providing our team members with a variety of benefits that allow them to live fulfilling, healthy, balanced, meaningful lives. That’s why we believe in offering paid healthcare, ultra-competitive 401K matching, accrued paid time off and fixed holiday leave, continuous learning and professional development incentives, and promote a sustainable work-life balance.
A CALL TO ACTION:
SILTT is at a pivotal moment. Our rapid growth has been incredible, but to sustain it, we need to build a world-class People infrastructure. This role is being created to be the single-threaded owner of that mission. We need a leader who can move seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution—someone who can architect our formal compensation philosophy in the morning and navigate a sensitive employee issue in the afternoon. You are stepping in to build the systems, policies, and culture that will serve as our foundation for years to come. Your work will directly enable our scalability and ensure SILTT is an exceptional place to work.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As the leader of the entire People function, your work will be incredibly dynamic and impactful. On any given day, you will find yourself:
Partnering with the executive team to translate business goals into a comprehensive headcount and talent acquisition strategy.
Designing and launching a new program, whether it's our annual performance review cycle, a new manager training curriculum, or the open enrollment process for our benefits plan.
Acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, coaching them through complex situations like performance issues, conflict resolution, or career development conversations.
Rolling up your sleeves to build foundational HR processes, such as drafting an updated employee handbook, ensuring state and federal compliance, or selecting a new HRIS module to automate our operations.
Analyzing data to tell a story, digging into engagement survey results, compensation benchmarks, or hiring metrics to provide leadership with actionable insights.
Championing our culture, finding new ways to recognize great work, foster an inclusive environment, and ensure our company values are woven into every People process.
