We are seeking an experienced, strategic Head of School to lead our dynamic private school serving children from infancy through age 13 across two buildings. The Head of School provides executive leadership for all programs, ensuring operational excellence, enrollment growth, compliance, financial health, and a strong culture of accountability and educational excellence.
We have a large multi-building campus that includes a variety of programming. We offer:
Nursery and Preschool Programs (Infants-Preschool)
Private School (K- 3rd grade)
Before & After School Recreation Program
Summer Camp Program
Get Well Place (on-site nurse providing school health services and mild sick care)
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a leadership team (Program Directors, Curriculum Specialists, and Administrative Coordinator)
Build and execute school-wide improvement and quality assurance plans
Oversee enrollment strategy and family engagement
Ensure licensing, accreditation, and regulatory compliance
Manage annual budget and financial performance
Champion staff development and performance management
Support alignment and collaboration across all programs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
5+ years leadership experience in early childhood and/or elementary education
Strong team management and strategic planning skills
Experience with compliance, accreditation, and quality assurance
Financial management experience preferred
Marketing and knowledge and experience preferred

Budgeting: Proficiency in managing budgets and financial resources effectively.
Education administration: Knowledge of administrative processes in an educational setting, including admissions, enrollment management, scheduling, etc.
Public speaking: Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent the school in public forums.
Leadership:
Management: Ability to effectively manage resources, facilities, and technology infrastructure.
