_ Desired Skills/Experience/Profile:_

• Experience working in a similar Managerial Role with a focus on a c/c++ embedded software and networking protocol applications focused on Radio Communication systems.
• ** Must have** familiarity with Software and Applications in areas such as: Two-Way radios, Walkie-Talkie type systems, Wireless Communication Systems, Land Mobile Radios, Digital Mobile Radios, Radio Receivers, Transceivers, MicroWave and/or RF Communication systems.
• Lead and mentor the software engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Develop and execute software engineering strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications and systems within the telecommunications sector.
• Ensure high standards of software quality through designing, coding, and testing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continually evolve our software offerings.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical background in software development methodologies, tools, and programming languages.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
• Proficient in project management practices, with experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
