Barupon is seeking a highly experienced Director of Strategic Partnerships – Data Centers & Digital Infrastructure to lead the development of strategic relationships with hyperscale cloud providers, data center developers, colocation operators, and digital infrastructure partners.
This individual will play a critical role in helping Barupon attract and secure major data center tenants and infrastructure partners for its large-scale industrial developments.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the data center industry and has contributed significantly to major data center or hyperscale infrastructure projects , including developing strategic partnerships that enable large-scale deployment.
Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise technology companies, and data center operators
Structure and negotiate long-term partnership agreements supporting large-scale data center deployments
Attract anchor tenants and hyperscale operators for Barupon's industrial campuses
Support long-term agreements related to power capacity, land development, and infrastructure integration
Develop partnerships across the broader digital infrastructure ecosystem, including:
Data center developers
Colocation operators
Fiber network providers
Cooling and infrastructure technology providers
Energy infrastructure providers supporting data center operations
Build and maintain relationships with senior executives across the data center, digital infrastructure, and hyperscale cloud ecosystem
Represent Barupon in key industry discussions and partnership opportunities
10+ years of experience in data center development, digital infrastructure partnerships, or hyperscale infrastructure ecosystems
Proven track record of developing or securing strategic partnerships within the data center industry
Demonstrated experience contributing to large-scale data center or hyperscale infrastructure deployments
Deep understanding of data center infrastructure requirements , including power, cooling, connectivity, and scalability
Strong industry relationships with data center operators, developers, hyperscale cloud providers, or digital infrastructure companies
Experience negotiating long-term infrastructure partnerships or tenant agreements
Strong ability to collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers or enterprise data center operators
Experience supporting large-scale data center campus developments
Strong understanding of power infrastructure and energy requirements for data centers
Experience working with digital infrastructure investment firms or infrastructure funds
Experience in large industrial or technology infrastructure development environments
Within the first 12–24 months, this leader will:
Establish strong partnerships across the data center and digital infrastructure ecosystem
Secure major data center operators or hyperscale tenants
Help position Barupon's industrial campuses as attractive locations for large-scale digital infrastructure development
