The Role: Head of Supply
As Head of Supply, you'll build the machine that powers the marketplace—owning supply acquisition, broker and owner relationships, listing quality, and new revenue layers tied to verified deals. You'll lead strategy and execution, reporting directly to the GM. This is an EVP-level role for a doer-thinker who can roll up their sleeves and scale a foundational engine of trust.
You'll define how brokers list with us, how business owners engage directly, how listings are verified, and how we evolve into a marketplace built on quality, not just quantity. You'll also help validate future monetization plays like:
- A SaaS-style broker dashboard
- Success-fee or subscription tiers for verified deal units
- Partnerships with franchise resale networks, lenders, and CPA firms

What You'll Do**
Strategic Development
- Design and own the long-term supply roadmap—from brokers to direct sellers to channel partners
- Shape the economic model: SaaS pricing, success fees, supply-side incentives
- Launch and scale our first Broker Alpha Program and Owner Direct Listing MVP
- Turn anonymized business listings into verified, de-risked assets for buyers
Execution & Operations
- Build and refine onboarding flows for brokers and sellers
- Partner with Product to define and launch listing verification, and trust signals
- Define scalable operational processes to handle supply intake, compliance, and quality checks
- Hire and manage early supply-side roles (e.g., broker success, listing ops, analyst)
Marketplace Leadership
- Be the voice of supply in company OKRs and roadmap planning
- Balance growth and quality: quantity of listings vs trust, conversion, and yield
- Evaluate new revenue streams (ads, premium features, subscriptions) tied to supply
- Drive weekly metrics reviews and cross-functional planning with Product, Growth, and Data
What You Bring
- 5–8+ years in ops, strategy, marketplace, or B2B supply-side leadership
- Strong bias for execution in zero-to-one environments
- Track record of building supply networks or partner ecosystems from scratch
- Analytical instincts (CPL, funnel dropoff, activation %) but customer empathy, too
- Comfort navigating messy data, early tech, and asymmetric information
Bonus Points
- Prior experience in M&A, business brokerage, B2B services, or franchise ops
- Worked in a marketplace where trust and quality are more important than quantity
- You've sold (or bought) a small business before, or seriously considered it
