    Location: Eastern Massachusetts (Medway & Walpole); regional oversight across New England

    Reports To: Executive Leadership

    Overview

    Our client is launching a dedicated Tree Care Division to unify and scale their existing arbor services. This role will lead the division from an established $2M base into a multi-location, high-growth regional operation.

    This is a builder’s role—ideal for a commercially minded arbor leader who thrives in growth environments and wants full ownership of a division’s success.

    Key Responsibilities

    Division Growth & Sales

    • Own revenue growth from ~$2M to $3M+ in Year 1
    • Increase penetration across 800–900 existing maintenance clients
    • Drive net-new tree care sales through external clients and partnerships
    • Collaborate with maintenance account managers on cross-selling opportunities

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Lead arbor crews, sales arborists, and production leaders
    • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent
    • Establish culture, accountability, and performance standards

    Operations & Scale

    • Build SOPs, safety standards, and operational consistency
    • Manage equipment, backlog, and production planning

    • Serve as architect for future multi-branch expansion

    Technical Expertise

    • Provide technical leadership in tree health, pruning, removals, PHC, and diagnostics
    • Ensure high-quality service delivery and professional credibility

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years in professional tree care/arbor operations
    • Experience managing a $1–3M+ book of business
    • Proven track record of double-digit growth
    • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Arborist certification or equivalent technical expertise
    • Willingness to relocate (preferred)

    Compensation

    • Base Salary: $135K–$150K
    • Performance-based incentives tied to growth and profitability
