    Job Description

    On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking part time REMOTE TELEPHONE INTERVIEWERS TO SUPPORT A RESEARCH STUDY IN THE STATE OF MAINE. Pay for this position is $15.00 per hour.

    As a Remote Telephone Interviewer, you will:

    • Call Maine residents to recruit and conduct telephone surveys using your computer and internet connection from home
    • Follow strict rules regarding interviewing and participant confidentiality
    • Be monitored for interviewing performance and improvement
    • Work alongside other research team members
    • Participate in regular meetings with supervisors by video conference, instant messaging, email and phone
    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years or older
    • COVID-19 Vaccination series completed (Limited Exemptions for Medical and Religious reasons considered)
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
    • Ability to read smoothly and clearly from a script, asking questions that are sometimes sensitive in nature
    • Ability to accurately document and track work progress and status both on and offline
    • Ability to establish and maintain a positive, professional rapport with people from a variety of backgrounds
    • Maintain neutrality by asking questions as written, staying on script, and using non-directional probing to get accurate answers to questions
    • Respect the confidentiality of respondents and data collected
    • Windows-based computer proficiency including typing at least 25 words per minute and accurately recording responses
    • Must be responsive to coaching and feedback
    • Must have a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks or tablets) and high-speed internet that meets minimum requirements of 10 Mbps or greater download and 5 Mbps upload
    • Having your own headset with microphone that you are comfortable with is beneficial, however our client will provide one if needed.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience using Voxco CATI Software
    • Bilingual abilities (Spanish)

    Additional Information

    • This position is temporary and part-time
    • Most of the data collection will take place from now to October 14, 2022
    • Candidates should have a flexible schedule
    • Work at least 20 hours per week (schedules up to 40 may be available)
    • Hours available are Monday – Friday 4:00 PM- 9:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time Zone.
