Job Description

On behalf of Eurekafacts, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Data Collectors, who will visit homes in the Boston, Cambridge, Newton, MA – NH Metro area. Data Collectors will be responsible for collecting data from selected household participants.

Data Collectors will be asked to work at least 35 - 40 hours of work per week. The position has a tentative start date of May 16th. Data Collectors are required to pass training.

As a Data Collector, you will:

• Visit selected households in the Boston, Cambridge, Newton, MA – NH Metro area
• Read the questions clearly and verbatim to the participant
• Receive and apply feedback on interviewing skills and project protocols.

Position Qualifications:

• Must be available to work May 16th through June 24thth, 2022.
• Experience conducting interviews to collect data for market research studies
• Ability to accurately record project data into spreadsheets and documents
• Adhere to limitations of project confidentiality
• Although this is not a sales position, must have customer service, administration, and/or telephone interviewing experience
• At least 6 months interviewing experience, (preferably in a research setting)
• Strong attention to detail with ability to capture information quickly while conversing
• Experience using technology as part of their day-to-day tasks (preferred experience in collecting data using computer-assisted interviewing).
• High school diploma or GED required
• Background check required

• Stand, walk, and climb stairs
• Step up and down off a step stool or ladder to reach fire alarm.
• Travel to designated homes in Boston, Cambridge, Newton, MA – NH Metro area.
• Communicate through speech and listening
• Read text verbatim
• Transport electronic devices and/or materials weighing up to approx. 12 pounds.
