Job Summary

We are seeking an entry level Youth Facilitator to join our team. As a Youth Facilitator, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementing, monitoring, and dispersing information about our program(s). We are HEAL 901 pionerring the fight in cultivating the minds of young leaders. In this position the Youth Facilitator will establish partnerships, within the Memphis Shelby County School System. The idea candidate will need experience in working with children and certain behaviors which impact the learning environment. Be able to assist school staff with implementing new programs which foster healthy learning environments, challenge students to change negative behavior, and ensure all programs are in line with our mission and goals within the assigned school.

Responsibilities

Build rapport with staff and students

Build postive relationships with students

Assist school staff in implementing programs effectively

Maintain records pertaining to program activities

Maintain effective working relationships within assigned school

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse student population

Strong organizational skills

Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite

The ability to work well independently, with children, and within a team

Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively

Ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures
