About the Role:
Healing Arts Center is looking for an awesome DPT to join our team! If you're reading this job posting, you already know what a Physical Therapist does so we'll spare you the boring descriptive. The real question is what do you want to do?
We have a hunch that you are in this field to help people, not just run them through a PT mill to fill some unrealistic administrative patient quota. There will always be red tape to deal with in the medical industry, but we strive as a team to rise above that.
We encourage our therapists to focus on individual patient needs and goals. That's why we have dedicated billing specialists on staff, so you can spend more time helping people and less time fighting with insurance companies.
As the leading provider of physical therapy services in the Branson area, we believe that no two patients are alike, and that all patients deserve the best possible care. This mindset has led to exponential growth and allowed us to open up a satellite clinic a few minutes from our main campus, so we need a full-time therapist who can manage the daily patient load and oversight of that facility.
Our clinics operate under a team approach, so some patients might be seen at either of our 2 locations since they are so close to each other. We have become known for our manual therapy skills, and while this skill would be needed from the right candidate, but we are very open to your skill sets and seeing how that can complement what we already do today.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Missouri
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient needs, abilities, and strengths
Create and implement patient-specific physical therapy plans of care
Provide modalities and treatments to reduce pain and improve mobility
Document patient progress and update plans of care
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
