    Job Description

    Excellent opportunity to be a part of the team at the new state of the art military hospital at Ft Bliss, TX. Seeking 5 Subject Matter Experts: Mechanical, Main Plant, Electrical, Low Voltage & Electronics, Technical/Clinical Processes - Team Leader.

    LOW VOLTAGE & ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS (LV&E) SME

    Assess/survey all LV&E systems in multiple buildings during in-progress construction through and beyond First Patient Day. Review, analyze, and assess USACE design plans for content and/or deficiencies. Assess LV&E systems commissioning in-progress data to ascertain whether systems design criteria are fully met. Collaborate with Commissioning Agent responsible for ensuring overall LV & E systems compliance with design criteria.

    Participate in all O&M training related to building LV&E systems; acquire expert institutional knowledge of systems and sequence of operations. Acquire expert knowledge and sequence of operations of LV & E systems, including but not limited to: electronic access control; camera surveillance; nurse call; infant security; fire alarm/fire protection; public address; interactive television; radio paging; GPS central clock; intercom; panic alarms; building controls; and vertical transport controls.

    Develop/deliver LV&E training program. Witness all LV&E equipment and systems startup and checkout procedures by General Contractor, review pre-functional checklists. Develop RPIE task procedures for LV&E equipment, and support RPIE contractor inventory effort.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·         5+ years’ experience as an electronics field technician, preferably in a hospital facility

    ·         Basic knowledge of Fort Bliss and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) processes

    ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    ·         Strong organization, planning and time management habits

    ·         Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Adobe Acrobat; knowledgeable of Internet usage

    ·         Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
