Responsibilities:

·         Produce clear and technically accurate architectural and engineering construction documents for various project types including healthcare, education and commercial projects

·         Research and compile technical product information and specification documents for building design projects

·         Work with A/E Project Architects and Engineers in the production of various documentation through all phases of design including conceptual designs, presentations and construction documents

·         Assist with construction administration duties including preparing responses to RFI’s, logging and review of contractor submittals, preparing other documentation as require

Qualifications

·         Minimum 5+ years production work experience utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software

·         General knowledge of building detailing, construction means, methods and techniques

·         Ability to read and prepare architectural and engineering construction documents

·         Ability to read redlines and modify 3-D BIM models or 2-D CAD drawings

·         Demonstrated proficiency using AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD software

·         Ability to use word processing (MS Word) and spreadsheet software (MS Excel)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to write clearly to communicate technical issues and design ideas

·         Excellent attention to detail

·         Strong organization, planning and time management habits

·         Bachelor of Architecture or engineering not required but a plus

·         Ability to pass basic background check for entry to US government-owned facilities
