Hillsboro's Best Athletic Club seeks certified trainers to join our team. Help members achieve the fitness goals needed to live well. You'll assess fitness levels, create personalized and group training routines, and ensure members of all ages and ability levels are utilizing equipment properly. This role requires outstanding customer service skills as well as a love for exercise and helping others improve their health and wellness. As a member of the team, you also ensure well-cared-for gym and studio areas. Commission for client hours up to $75/hr Responsibilities: • Teach clients proper technique for all exercises, especially those requiring more complex equipment, to reduce injury risk • Ensure all workout programs are appropriate for each client by doing individualized fitness evaluations • Revise fitness plans based on clients’ progress toward set goals • Improve client fitness by customizing exercises to meet each person's unique needs and skills • Hold yourself and your clients to the highest standards of conduct and safety • Ability to build and maintain a robust client base • Conduct administrative tasks of training with excellence • Lead groups in small group training • Work as a dedicated member of the club service team, assisting in daily tasks needed to organize and maintain equipment, enforce policy, and build relationships Qualifications: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and other team members • This role requires fitness instructor or personal trainer certification • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification Compensation: $20 - $23+ hourly
