Calvin University is seeking a Graduation Advisor.
This position is responsible for coordinating senior records and events including performing senior audits, maintaining paper and computerized records for all seniors; ordering diplomas for all graduates, assisting with the Senior Salute and serving on the Commencement Committee.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform senior graduation audits by corresponding with seniors, receiving degree applications, processing audits, and sending copies to students to ensure seniors possess degree requirements and to notify seniors of graduation eligibility in a timely manner.
- Order diplomas and related materials by maintaining spreadsheet document of graduating senior information; sending order to outside vendor; receiving ordered materials; conducting final audit of graduation eligibility; sending out diplomas to ensure graduation related materials are accurate and received in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate student records by posting degree information, corresponding with deficient graduates, evaluating students wanting to return to complete degree, and communicating with faculty to ensure accurate student records.
- Assist with Senior Salute annually by maintaining database of participating seniors to provide accurate degree information for event and provide seniors with information regarding any degree deficiencies and serves on the Commencement Committee.
- Provide support in the biannual registration process by assisting in the registration of students to expedite student enrollment for classes.
- 6. Perform general office duties by ordering office supplies, answering the telephone and maintaining office equipment.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience especially in a student records or service area
- Experience in higher education a plus
