Required Duties:
Candidate will assist the Government in health & safety management and operational support at a government facility for an Advanced Meter Reading Implementation located at FE Warren AFB, WY. Specific duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
Read construction prints, submittals, and other associated technical documentation
Ensure that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts
Conduct client program meetings as needed.
Monitor employee and subcontractor compliance with the applicable safety and health requirements.
Conduct safety inspections/audits to ensure implementation of safety, health and environmental procedures and policies for the benefit of employees and clients.
Maintain project safety, health, and environmental records.
Research and implement new site safety practices.
Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts.
Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of construction safety supervisory experience
Knowledge of construction technology
Familiarity with project and department budget process and tools
Knowledge of project controls
Risk assessment/Management
Administrative policies and procedures
Conceptual planning ability
Conflict management and problem-solving skills
Leadership ability
Communication, meeting, and presentation skills
Familiarity with MS Office Schedule software and Primavera preferred
HVAC, HVAC controls, Plumbing, or Electrical design-build construction project experience
Licenses/Training:
OSHA 30 Hour Certification
First Aid/CPR Certified
Construction Quality Management for Contractors preferred
EM 385-1-1 Awareness Training preferred
