    Position Overview

    CLFC Healthcare & Communications is seeking a Health Services Administrator to manage the administrative operations of the healthcare department at a federal correctional institution in Cumberland, Maryland. You will coordinate staffing, manage budgets, oversee compliance reporting, and serve as the administrative link between clinical staff and facility leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage daily administrative operations of health services
    • Develop and monitor departmental budgets and procurement
    • Coordinate credentialing and onboarding for healthcare providers
    • Compile and submit BOP health services reports and quality metrics
    • Support ACA/NCCHC accreditation activities
    • Manage contracts with outside providers and reference labs
    • Serve as liaison between health services and facility administration
    • Coordinate emergency preparedness plans

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Business
    • Minimum 2 years healthcare administration experience
    • Healthcare management systems proficiency
    • U.S. citizenship required
    • Ability to pass federal background investigation

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MHA or MPH
    • Federal or correctional healthcare administration experience
    • NCCHC or ACA accreditation experience

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary: $78,000 - $100,000 annually
