    Position Overview

    CLFC Healthcare & Communications is seeking a Health Services Administrator to manage administrative operations of the healthcare department at a federal correctional institution in Oxford, Wisconsin. FCI Oxford is a medium-security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum-security satellite camp in rural central Wisconsin. You will coordinate staffing schedules, manage budgets, oversee compliance reporting, and serve as the administrative bridge between clinical staff and facility leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage daily administrative operations of the health services department
    • Develop and monitor departmental budgets, track expenditures, and manage procurement
    • Coordinate credentialing, privileging, and onboarding for healthcare providers
    • Compile and submit BOP health services reports, workload statistics, and quality metrics
    • Support ACA/NCCHC accreditation activities
    • Manage contracts with outside medical providers and reference laboratories
    • Serve as liaison between health services staff and facility administration
    • Coordinate emergency preparedness plans for health services

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration
    • Minimum 2 years of healthcare administration experience
    • Proficiency with healthcare management systems and reporting tools
    • U.S. citizenship required
    • Ability to pass federal background investigation

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MHA or MPH degree
    • Federal or correctional healthcare administration experience
    • NCCHC or ACA accreditation experience

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 annually
