30 hours per week 48 weeks per year out of our Cabot Street location in Beverly, MA
Rate $22.75-$24.00 based on experience
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Facilitate, gather and document all required immunization records, medical and dental examination records, Health Plans, referrals and treatments within the required time periods and enter records into a database
- Perform vision, hearing and nutrition screenings in a timely manner.
- Communicate with families and providers to convey results and ensure referrals, follow up, and required treatments
- Relate and interact with children in a developmentally appropriate way while completing screening assessments
- Assist the Health Nutrition Manager with meetings, organizing trainings, and other functions as requested
- Assist in kitchen with meal prep and distribution when needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen supervisor and kitchen assistants on meal accommodations and allergy plans
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficient in spoken and written English language necessary. Bi-lingual (Spanish or Portuguese) a plus
- Experience working in the health care field preferred but not required
- Compliance with any State and Head Start regulatory vaccination requirements
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Successfully complete a pre- employment physical
- Obtain/Maintain ServSafe/Allergen Certification
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. when necessary and be able to stand for extended lengths of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit for extended periods, and cover moderate distances rapidly
- Intermittent and sustained periods of walking, sitting and standing required
