About the Role:
CardioClinic in Richmond, TX is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk / Phlebotomy professional to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, verify insurance information, and manage appointment scheduling
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy and patient comfort in mind
Process and label lab specimens following proper chain-of-custody and safety protocols
Answer multi-line phone systems, route calls, and respond to patient inquiries professionally
Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) systems
Collect co-pays, process billing information, and manage front desk administrative tasks
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in a medical front desk or phlebotomy role preferred
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification or equivalent training required
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical scheduling software
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing basics
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a busy clinical environment
High school diploma or GED required; medical assistant or healthcare certification a plus
