What your role would be: As an independent agent (1099 contract), you will have the opportunity to sell individual and family ACA plans representing one of the most innovative companies in the U.S. At HealthBird, we provide our agents with consistent pre-qualified, inbound leads to help you succeed. You will have access to dedicated lead qualifiers, sales and product coaches, industry-leading technology, and comfortable offices if needed to support your success. Focus on selling while our support team takes care of policy maintenance. As part of our team, you will be consulting with people who have requested information, are pre-qualified, and are transferred directly to you. Your income will be driven by your skills, effort, and time commitment, with opportunities to earn additional weekly and monthly spiffs as well as exciting bonus trips. This commission-only role allows for unlimited earning potential! We are looking for enthusiastic, empathetic, and disciplined individuals with strong organizational and technical skills, and who are willing to learn and evolve. Responsibilities: * Help clients determine their health insurance needs and provide them with information on available policies and plans * Explain the benefits, coverage options, and costs associated with each plan * Help clients understand their rights and responsibilities under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) * Assist clients in enrolling in a health insurance plan that meets their needs * Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions * Keep up to date with changes in the health insurance industry, including policy changes, new products, and changes in regulations * Attend training sessions and seminars to improve knowledge and skills Requirements: * Must have a valid state health insurance license * Minimum of 2 years of experience in the health insurance industry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software * Self-motivated and able to work remotely What we welcome: At our company, we welcome individuality and creativity.
