    Member Experience Specialist

    Part-time, 16-24 hours per week

    HealthFitness is hiring for a part-time Member Experience Specialist to join the Walton Life Fitness Center team **** in Bentonville, AR. In this role, you'll report to the Member Experience Director and will support the presentation and promotion of facilities, programs, and services to the eligible Walmart population. A primary goal will be to positively impact membership sales growth and the member experience. You'll work as part of a small team to help members navigate through programs and service offerings. Weekend schedule in a fun & healthy environment.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Act as a liaison between associates and other departments within the Whole Health facility to ensure we are connecting participants to available programming and services. Assist with member feedback, concerns, and issue resolution.
    • Assist with the implementation of membership sales initiatives and campaigns. Support the coordination of membership sales marketing and communications to maximize member growth.
    • Help drive membership growth through outreach and business development efforts including participation in networking/community events. Actively track & report membership sales and related member experience performance indicators.
    • Conduct tours of the facility and present program offerings while establishing a relationship to gain an understanding of prospects individual needs and wants.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Role Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related discipline OR the equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
    • Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED & First Aid certifications through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required by first day of work.
    • Excellent customer service, patience, and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others.
    • A passion for helping people live healthier lives and work as part of a team.
    • Basic computer skills (word, excel, etc.).
    • Hospitality, sales and/or administrative experience is a plus, but not required. Ideal applicants will have 1+ year of experience working in the field of fitness, recreation, and/or wellness.
    • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. ****
