YOUTH/RECREATION SUPERVISOR - BEAUMONT, TX

ON-CALL WORKING SEASONALLY

HealthFitness is looking for a YOUTH/RECREATION SUPERVISOR to join the recreation team at our client site located in Beaumont, TX.  In this position, you will oversee the planning, coordination, implementation, management, supervision and oversight of all, Youth programming, Camps and activities, and child care department to ensure a safe, fun, and positive environment within all our youth services.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Leads youth programs, child care, and recreational programs including hiring, training and supervising staff, developing curriculum, and ensuring code compliance with state licensing.
• Facilitates the close alignment of programs and services with the client’s business needs, employee culture and corporate health strategies. Actively promotes marketing of programs to maximize outreach and engagement; and distributes electronic and print promotional materials to communicate program offerings and special events.
• Develops and reports monthly key performance indicators to direct manager. Gathers program outcomes data and measures results; evaluates and reports on program effectiveness in meeting objectives and makes recommendations for future program enhancements or modifications.
• Performs administrative duties including payroll, purchasing, compliance training, scheduling, marketing, performance evaluations, and software management.
• Plan, manage and coordinate special events, services and family programs for assigned dept.
• Contributes to the Manager on Duty rotations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Adult/Child CPR/AED/First Aid Certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of 1-2 years state licensing experience in child care of afterschool program settings.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Supervisory experience a plus.
