    Job Description

    HealthFitness is looking for part-time Front Desk Attendants to join our team at the Walmart - Walton Life Fitness Center in Bentonville, AR. In this role you will be the very first impression on our members and guests. This sets the tone for their entire experience at the club that day. The attention you show members – an inquiry on how they enjoyed their workout, a friendly smile as you bid them goodbye – enhances their experience and motivates them to return. This makes the Front Desk team an integral part of our promise to deliver the very best member experience and motivate people to return and take care of their health.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Greeting and assisting customers, provide fitness program and service information.
    • Assist with fitness desk administration, processes, and related recordkeeping.
    • Efficiently responds to participant requests, comments or concerns and brings issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
    • Maintains and updates participant and facility policies as appropriate. Educate participants on policies and procedures.
    • Participate in internal programs and special events.
    • Opening and/or closing duties.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Requirements

    • A passion for helping people live healthier lives.
    • Ability to be a team player and work well with others.
    • Previous customer service experience preferred.
    • Basic computer skills (word, excel, outlook etc.) and working knowledge of a member management system, databases and tools.
    • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 90 days of hire.
