Whole Health Specialist - Bentonville, AR

Weekends, Part-time in a state-of-the-art new facility!

The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for an experienced Whole Health Specialist to join the team in Bentonville, AR. In this part-time position, you will help support the Whole Health program delivery and recovery suite areas and assist members in mobilizing internal strengths and external resources to better their health and well-being. You'll be responsible for the delivery of facility supervision and recovery related direct member programs and services. Weekend shifts available!

What you'll be doing:

• Helps in delivery of all programming within the Whole Health to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction. Participates in ongoing training.
• Supervises recovery suite areas. Interacts with participants and monitors equipment and safety. Provides direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, etc.).
• Provides assistance with active release tools, such as foam rollers, etc. Utilizes a hands-on approach to assist with stretching or tactile queuing.
• Creates and delivers safe and effective recovery and stretching programs for apparently healthy individuals or those with medical clearance to exercise.
• Interacts directly with client employees and family members. Facilitates individual and group behavior change programs including health improvement programs and meeting presentations.
• Assists with the scheduling, engagement, delivery of all Whole Health programming.
• Collects, evaluates, and reports appropriate program data to support the Whole Health strategy.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, health promotion, health education or related field and 1+ years of experience in delivery and coordination of corporate-based health promotion/education programs, or equivalent combination of education or related experience.
• Experience in the areas of health education, health coaching, nutrition, mindfulness as related to program delivery, implementation and evaluation.
• Adult/Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
