Senior Cloud Solutions and Strategy Architect

OVERVIEW

JDA’s Cloud is growing faster than ever and looking for someone to join the team that will help our customers as well as our internal sales team fully understand our offerings. JDA is searching for a Senior Cloud Solutions and Strategy Architect that has proven consulting experience with clients on Cloud-based deployments. This role serves as a bridge between our sales and operations teams so they will need to have a strong technical background combined with a strong business acumen and be able to hold their own with both crowds. Successful candidates will be passionate about Cloud technology/solutions and enjoy the idea of spreading that knowledge to help grow JDA’s Cloud business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consult with customers on how to best support complex supply chain transformations via SaaS and/or Cloud-based delivery platforms.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand technology & delivery requirements, while developing solutions that support value-based supply chain outcomes.
• Advise/inform on solution/technical architecture, security and service delivery capabilities, among other key topics.
• Build and deliver financial cases to customers that focus on the overall value (short and long term) of delivering complex supply chain solutions via SaaS or Cloud-based delivery platforms. Able to articulate total solution ROI and cost/benefit analysis.
• Provides advice to customers regarding SaaS best practices and process methodology.
• Communicates and/or supports business cases to strategy and development groups regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.
• Facilitate contract negotiations.
• Provide training and facilitate sales enablement around JDA Cloud Services to the extended JDA organization.
• Is able to speak and inspire confidence equally to a room of seasoned IT veterans as well as a business team.
• Prepares and delivers presentations for users, management, IT, and executive level audiences.
• Is a thought leader in the world of Cloud and is able to apply that knowledge to customer situations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a technical or solution architecture capacity with enterprise software solutions in a Cloud, SaaS, or On-Demand delivery method
• 2+ years of experience with a public cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Experience presenting to executive level audiences
• Proven ability to understand, retain & articulate information related to high level technical and service delivery aspects of Cloud-based service delivery platforms
• Strong written, interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Effective negotiation skills
