    JOB OVERVIEW: Atlas Van Lines is seeking a Sr. Director to join our Agency Development team! The candidate will be responsible for improving the company's financial position through increased gross sales of current and prospective Agents.  This position is also responsible for maintenance and quality improvement of national agency network, monitoring and administering company policies and procedures, and maintaining agency relations. 

     

    The Sr. Director, Agency Development maintains rapport with current agents and develops new rapport with prospective agent leads for future recruiting. This position will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure operational and financial strategies are aligned and flawlessly executed.

     

     

    In addition, this position will be responsible for these essential duties and responsibilities:

    • Overseeing maintenance and improvement of national agency network.
    • Maintaining agency relations. Developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with others to achieve company goals.
    • Reviewing new programs for recruiting and agent transition.
    • Setting and implementing overall strategic objectives to meet and exceed business objectives.
    • Representing company at industry meetings. Participating in learning opportunities and industry conferences to stay current and innovative.
    • Directing agent arbitration procedures.
    • Shaping and overseeing the activities of the Agency Development team to ensure their interaction with agents reflect positively.
    • Evaluating New Agent Applications for presentation to Atlas’ Senior Management and Board of Directors. Reviewing field reports, prospective agent profiles, and travel itineraries for field staff.

     

    EMPLOYMENT TYPE & HOURS: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours fall between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., M-F.
