    HealthFlex is seeking an RN CLINICAL EDUCATOR who will be a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of HealthFlex Clinicians. The RN Clinical Educator implements intricate education programs typically including, but are not limited to: orientation, continuing education and in-services. Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, collaborates with the leadership management and staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing and rehab personnel and other personnel as indicated or requested.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement programs to achieve company, team, and personal goals and objectives including patient and provider engagement, number of lives touched, encounters and revenue.
    • Assists clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term therapeutic goals, in setting priorities, and in developing a plan of care.
    • Conducts quarterly record reviews and communicates findings and recommendations to Clinical Director/Director of Patient Care Services and appropriate organization personnel.
    • Assists Clinical Director/Director of Patient Care Services in the planning, implementation and evaluation of inservice and continuing education programs.
    • Reviews and analyzes data and information related to education needs and other pertinent situations including identification of trends, issues and supporting data to determine a comprehensive education program for assigned units/clinics including classroom, clinical experiences and learning technologies. 
    • Provides consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities and mentorship opportunities.
    • Establishes and delivers/coordinates other educational programs as directed (e.g.,Orientation, Initial/Supervisory Visits, in-services, continuing education, job-specific and specialty curricula) to support competence and professional growth of HealthFlex staff.
    • Creates, develops, and evaluates the preceptor program to enhance the orientation process and the retention of staff. Provides leadership to preceptors and serves as a role model through educational programs and ongoing coaching and mentoring.
    • Serves as a facilitator to Newly Licensed Nursing Program and actively mentors and supports their growth in the profession and clinical practice
    • Works collaboratively with nursing supervisors to assure documentation is complete, consistent, and accurate with care and reflects legal requirements.
    • Establishes a process model for improvement and provides education and training to organization personnel on the performance improvement plan, as well as team development.
    • Collaborates with nursing supervisors to provide a process to promote and ensure employee orientation, competency, and inservice education programs.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years of home health experience as an on field clinician
    • Associate degree in Nursing with a valid unrestricted RN license, BSN/MSN preferred
    • Knowledge of Medicare regulations 
    • Knowledge of Home Health protocols and standard of care
    • Ability to travel when necessary(up to 50 mile range) 
    • Willingness to be flexible, work in a fast paced environment, and adapting to changing industry demands
    • Experience with teaching skills both individually and in a group setting

    Office hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
