Job Description
The Business System Analyst has a focus on the support of the enterprise level Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) for Facility and other entities. Further, this role functions as a Business Systems Analyst supporting the OnCore Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) and end-user training for our client’s Cancer Center. This is a technical expert that would provide technical advice and support to end-users. They would need to formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable systems, clinical research, and industry requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will need strong interpersonal communications skills as they will need to collaborate with the OnCore team, researchers, and clinical trial offices to access and identify data requirements for research protocols. They would also develop and recommend possible solutions to resolve complex issues with functionality, reporting or data integrity. Finally, the Business Systems Analyst provides insight and direction related to training requirements while also serving as a technical contributor and primary liaison to information technology staff, CTMS vendors, clinical trial officers, and end users.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preference for major in computer & information science);
Experience in business or research management systems analysis;
Experience gathering & understanding business and tech requirements;
Ability to navigate complex clinical trial protocols; and
Minimum of 2 years data analysis experience
Experience working with & developing case report form content;
Experience with highly dimensional data warehouses/repositories; and
Experience using common business intelligence and/or report formatting tools.
