Do you thrive on building relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and senior living facilities to deliver life-changing home health care? At Qualicare, we’re seeking a Healthcare Business Development Specialist who can hit the ground running, leveraging existing local connections to generate referrals for our client-centered home health agency. We provide compassionate and highly skilled nursing, PT, OT, and speech therapy to peds, adults, and geriatric patient populations. We also provide companion and CNA home care.

    Why Qualicare?

Make an Impact: Directly connect patients with personalized home health care that enhances their dignity and quality of life.

Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $60,000–$75,000/year, plus uncapped commission potential tied to referral and revenue goals, generous PTO, paid holidays, and annual performance reviews.

Career Growth: Join a growing agency with opportunities to lead regional expansion and mentor future team members.

Supportive Environment: Access to ongoing training, a proven sales system, and a collaborative team dedicated to client success.

This is a remote position with significant local travel in Denton, Collin, Grayson, and Dallas counties in Texas. Candidates must reside in the area and have reliable transportation.

    How to Apply

Ready to make an immediate impact? Submit your resume, a brief cover letter highlighting your local healthcare connections and referral success stories, and any relevant metrics (e.g., number of referrals secured in past roles). Applications without demonstrated and successful healthcare sales experience and local health care community ties will not be considered.

    Key Responsibilities

Drive Referral Growth: Build and maintain relationships with key referral partners (e.g., hospital case managers, discharge planners, physicians, social workers, and senior living communities) to secure consistent referrals for home health services, with a goal of generating measurable referrals within the first 30 days.

Leverage Local Networks: Use your existing connections in the North DFW healthcare ecosystem to establish Qualicare as the go-to home health provider.

Conduct Targeted Outreach: Deliver compelling presentations and educational sessions to referral sources, showcasing Qualicare’s holistic care model and expertise in managing complex conditions (e.g., cardiac, respiratory, and post-hospitalization care).

Build Strategic Partnerships: Forge alliances with 55+ communities, assisted living facilities, veteran organizations, and local government entities to create seamless referral pipelines.

Engage Families and Caregivers: Provide empathetic, solution-focused guidance to families, helping them navigate home health care options.

Track and Report Progress: Use CRM tools to manage leads, track referral outcomes, and report on business development metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Participate in Client Care: Occasionally join new client assessments and quality assurance visits to align services with referral partner expectations.

Amplify Our Brand: Support social media and marketing initiatives (e.g., LinkedIn, community events) to boost Qualicare’s visibility in the local market.

    Qualifications

Proven Track Record: Minimum 3 years of successful sales or business development experience in healthcare, ideally in home health, hospice, or senior care, with demonstrated ability to secure referrals from hospitals, physicians, or senior living facilities.

Local Healthcare Expertise: Established relationships with referral partners in Frisco, Plano, Denton, and the greater north of Dallas area, with knowledge of local hospitals, clinics, and senior care networks.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot); familiarity with social media platforms for professional outreach.

Transportation: Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle for local travel.

    Behavioral Competencies:

Results-driven with a sense of urgency to meet referral targets.

Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences (e.g., clinicians, families, administrators).

Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for improving seniors’ lives and a commitment to ethical, client-centric care.

    Physical and Mental Demands

Frequent local travel to meet with referral partners and attend community events.

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during presentations or networking.

Comfort with extensive phone and computer use for outreach and documentation.

Occasional evening or weekend events to support business development.
