    Doors to Freedom in Summerville, SC, is looking for a full-time, trauma-informed RN with compassion and experience in Pediatrics and Psychiatry to include case management. The ideal candidate will offer advocacy during medical visits, organize medical, dental, and specialized care appointments, provide support during emergencies, and recognize changes in behaviors and conditions through a trauma-informed lens. This role emphasizes advocacy and casemanagement. Responsibilities include advocacy, case management, medication administration, starting/stopping medications as per medical provider advice, and providing feedback on effectiveness. Candidates should be adaptable, establish connections with teenagers effortlessly, and show a keen interest in working with this age group and individuals who have complex trauma. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Competitive hourly salary range of $30 to $35 an hour. Responsibilities: • Administer medication to residents during shifts while ensuring accurate documentation in the Medication Administration Binder. • Oversee healthcare coordination of services for residents while consulting and communicating with the Department of Social Services. • Assist in the intake process, file auditing, and discharge process as directed. • Support the completion of Weekly Staffing to update staff, monitor residents’ progress, and ensure accountability in the Individualized Growth Plan Evaluation. • Engage with residents throughout the day and advocate for their rights, safety, and permanency needs. • Coordinate the well-being needs of residents by scheduling medical appointments and specialty care as necessary. • Assist in managing Medication Inventory, Prescription Medication, Standing Order, and Medication Refill Tracker. • Provide transportation to residents for appointments when required, with mileage reimbursement. • Maintain cultural sensitivity and participate in the Inclement Weather and Disaster Plan as directed. • Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the Operations Director or Executive Director. Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
