JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of High School is required. Additional education in the Human Resources field or equivalent is preferred, to include a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Formal Training: Skills with experience in planning, organizing, implementing, facilitating, interviewing, counseling, and verbal and written communications. Strong Computer skills, Human Resources Certification preferred
Work Experience: Two years of Human Resources transactional specialized experience in Human Resources preferred.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Assists with the facilitation of staff orientation and training activities.
Assists in creation of staff personnel files and the appropriate management.
Provides administrative support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages.
Maintains staff confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Coordinates and facilitates training/meetings as needed.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions to resolve routine personnel inquires, redirects inquiries as appropriate.
Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
Archives out of date staff files and notes destroy dates when applicable.
Advises managers and staff on internal processes regarding employee relation issues, dispute resolution, interpretation, and application of policies/procedures.
Provides guidance and makes recommendations to managers related to disciplinary procedures, performance improvement plans, and complex employee relations matters.
Reviews staff members complaints, conducts investigations, recommend corrective action, and provide summary reports as appropriate.
Maintains timely and accurate documentation of employee relations issues and incidents.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned by CEO and HR consultant.
