We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with our clients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist patients with daily activities such as lifting, transferring, and generally getting around
Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
Give medication reminders
Engage patients in maintaining a sense of personal pride and dignity by connecting with them personally
QUALIFICATIONS
No prior experience necessary
High School Diploma or GED or Work relevant letter accepted
Part time availability
Driver’s license not required but preferred
CPR certification training available
