    About this Opportunity

    Avel is seeking a Healthcare Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources team! This role involves partnering with leadership to identify recruitment needs, develop and execute sourcing strategies, and manage the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting high-caliber talent while delivering a positive candidate experience.

    Must Have Experience in Recruiting for Physicians, NP's and Clinical Admin staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment and Sourcing

    • Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and align hiring strategies.
    • Create and post job openings, collaborating with hiring managers to determine pre-screening questions.
    • Source and screen candidates to ensure their skills and experience align with position requirements.
    • Develop talent pipelines for frequently recruited positions.
    • Collaborate with departments to meet AA/EEO compliance and adhere to company policies.
    • Train managers and staff on Avel's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Manage requisition approval workflows.

    Hiring and Onboarding

    • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews.
    • Collaborate with HR partners to determine compensation and extend job offers.
    • Oversee the onboarding process, including background checks, drug tests, and I-9 compliance.
    • Manage pre-employment communications and collect required paperwork.
    • Create new hire profiles in the HRIS and issue staff badges.

    Administrative and Additional Duties

    • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation.
    • Assist with employee onboarding tasks and other HR duties as needed.

    Required Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
    • Experience: At least 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in high-volume environments. Experience recruiting healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians) is preferred.
    • Skills: Proficiency with HR databases, ATS systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.). Ability to conduct presentations or training sessions.
    • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed.

    Licenses and Certifications:

    • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Avel’s automobile liability insurance requirements.
