    RN Utilization Review Case Manager
    Los Angeles, California

    The Registered Nurse Utilization Review Case Manager will have the opportunity to cross train and will serve as a clinical co-pilot charting the best trajectory of each patient’s care. The RN Utilization Review Case Manager validates the patient's placement to the most appropriate level of care based on nationally accepted admission criteria. The RN Utilization Review Case Manager uses medical necessity screening tools, such as InterQual or MCG criteria.The RN Utilization Review Case Manager completes initial and continued stay reviews, appropriateness of test/procedures and an estimation of the patients expected length of stay.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
    • Current CA Registered Nurse license required
    • American Heart Association BLS
    • 5 years Case Management experience in an Acute Hospital setting
    • 3 years related nursing experience required
    • Knowledge of medical literature, research methodology, health care delivery systems and financial reimbursement
