Regional Director of Case Management

The Regional Director of Case Management supports the advancement of Case Management. The RN Regional Director of Case Management performs the functions necessary to support Case Management strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Registered Nurse required
• Director of Case Management experience in an acute hospital required
• ACMA or CCM preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Multi-Campus Director of Case Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Executes on the strategic plan and provides subject matter expertise for Case Management regulations and standards
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Ensures effective utilization of resources, timely and accurate revenue cycle processes, denial prevention, and safe and timely patient throughput
• Includes integration of national standards for Case Management scope of services, including Utilization Management
• Supports medical necessity and denial prevention, transition management promoting appropriate length of stay, readmission prevention and patient satisfaction
• Care Coordination by demonstrating throughput efficiency while assuring care is the right sequence and of the appropriate level
• Serves as an information resource, and collaborates with other departments and outside sources
