    The Healthcare Research Associate (Intern) is a key part-time role supporting our Healthcare analytics and thought leadership efforts to drive firm visibility and promote our services to targeted prospective clients. Additionally, this role will contribute to existing client delivery through data analysis and client presentations.     The Opportunity

    The Healthcare Research Associate (Intern) supports the Healthcare and Clinical Insights team by researching, synthesizing, and packaging information related to Healthcare cost, clinical and pharmaceutical trends. These insights will be used to develop marketing and business development content aimed at increasing brand awareness and supporting client acquisition and retention. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to analyze client clinical and healthcare related data to support project delivery.

    The ideal candidate will have strong research, analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal), along with proficiency in Microsoft Office to support high-quality project delivery.

    The Optimatum Team is looking for a highly skilled individual including:

    Key Responsibilities

    Review and synthesize insights from industry publications.

    Conduct ongoing research using publicly available sources.

    Perform excel based analysis on publicly available data as well as client clinical data.

    Extract key data points for use in marketing communications.

    Draft thought leadership content based on research findings.

    Provide general support across the organization.

    Additional Qualifications

    Enrolled in a master’s degree/equivalent or higher

    Related professional experience in industry or professional services a plus

    Interest in Healthcare required

    Strong Microsoft Office Skills (especially Excel, PPT, and Word)

    Strong ability to research, analyze, synthesize and present findings

    Effective and professional communication skills

    Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams

    Exceptional organization and planning skills

    Highly detail oriented

    ** The expected hourly salary ranges from $30.00 - $38.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, training, experience, education, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package (for eligible employees), successful candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
