    Remote role with 25-50% travel across Texas. Must be located in Texas.

    Compensation: $125-150k OTE. Includes a $40k base + supplemental commission while you ramp up.

    Position Summary

    The Healthcare Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth and market share within the healthcare segment in the State of Texas. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with healthcare clients, and executing sales strategies to achieve territory revenue goals and long-term profitability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute strategic sales objectives to grow market share within the healthcare segment in Texas.
    • Create and implement local market strategies aligned with national sales programs and organizational goals.
    • Identify business potential and pursue new opportunities with hospitals, healthcare groups, and institutions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and target accounts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and the company’s value proposition.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, distributor partners, technical support, customer service, marketing, and supply chain.
    • Oversee territory forecasting, pipeline management, and budget tracking through CRM tools.
    • Provide market feedback on products, competitors, and industry trends to management to inform strategy.
    • Participate in regular team huddles, CRM project meetings, target reviews, and annual performance planning.
    • Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
    • 3+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably within healthcare or institutional segments.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving territory growth.
    • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
    • Experience working with CRM systems (C4C or similar).
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Texas.
