    Job Description

    Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Health Program Analyst 2 (HPA 2)- Supervisory District Liaison. The Supervisorial District Liaison is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for the assigned Board of Supervisor Office and cities located within their district, excluding the cities of Pasadena and Long Beach, which have their own health jurisdiction. The Liaison will primarily interact by phone and email with County and city elected officials, personnel, and referred constituents from the Board Offices, Department of Public Health leadership and Executive office support staff.

    The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 2/22/2022 with potential renewal.

     

    PAY RATE-

    $48.9/hr working 40 hours a week

    HEALTHCARE

    Employer Fully Funded Healthcare (Anthem Blue Cross), Dental and Vision, Life Insurance from Initial Start Date.

     

    SHIFTS: M-F (REMOTE POSITION)

    Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.

     

    JOB DUTIES

    · Respond to inquiries related to the Reopening Safer at Work and in the Community Health Officer Order, COVID-19 guidance, and related departmental activities. Strive to resp

    · Log inquiries and responses into the SD Liaison SmartSheet tracking system in a timely fashion;

    · Review and remain up-to-date on changes to the COVID-19 Health Officer Order, related protocols and guidance;

    · Elevate complex or other issues for further determination or clarity to the Liaison supervisor and ICS chain of command, as needed;

    · Contact internal Public Health staff to seek answers or further clarification at the direction of the Liaison supervisor;

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    · A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control -and- four years of experience in the analysis of mental health or public health programs. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control may be substituted for one year of the required experience; and

    · Excellent reading comprehension Excellent written expression

    · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

     

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Windows-based laptop or desktop device with a speaker and mic;

    • Reliable Wi-fi/internet access; and

    • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and disease surveillance.
