Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Health Program Analyst to provide services for a county run program in the LA Region. The Programs Objective is to address the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on communities of color, low-income communities, and other highly impacted communities throughout LA County. Effective community outreach ensures that accurate and up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 reaches all communities, especially those that are most highly impacted by the virus and is delivered in a culturally appropriate way via credible messengers who have trust in their communities.

The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through December 30, 2020. There is a possibility that positions will be extended past the of this year, but there is no guarantee that this will be the case.

PAY RATE-

$42.15/hr working 40 hours a week ( Lots of opportunity for overtime)

HEALTHCARE

Employer Fully Funded Healthcare (Anthem Blue Cross), Dental and Vision, Life Insurance from Initial Start Date.

SHIFTS: M-F

Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university -AND- two years of experience performing assignments in public health program analysis; and • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize and alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional understanding of general health disparities and unique impact of COVID-19 on communities of color, low-income communities, and other highly impacted communities throughout LAC.

• Windows-based laptop or desktop device with a speaker and microphone. • Reliable Wi-Fi/internet access. • Possess proficiency with computers and software programs. • Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills. • Maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic. • Great attention to detail. • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

JOB DUTIES

a) Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the COVID-19 CHW Outreach Initiative; b) Assist with the creation and monitoring of initiative policies, goals and objectives; c) Provide general support to the CPA and Partner Agency Liaisons; d) Prepare reports and correspondence related to the COVID-19 CHW Outreach Initiative; e) Assist in formulating and presenting recommendations to leadership for program modifications or improvements based on program evaluations; f) Comply with DPH training regarding confidential information related to personal information; and g) Accept responsibility for other duties as assigned
