    Job Description

    Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate needs for Health Program Analyst Grant Management to provide services in the Los Angeles Region. The Programs Objective is to investigate and oversee cases/outbreaks related to COVID-19 in settings that include, but are not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), shelters and encampments for people experiencing homelessness (PEH), congregate living settings, worksites, schools, daycares, and places of worship.

    The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through July 30, 2021.

     

    PAY RATE-

    $42.15/hr working 40 hours a week ( Lots of opportunity for overtime)

    HEALTHCARE

    Employer Fully Funded Healthcare (Anthem Blue Cross), Dental and Vision, Life Insurance from Initial Start Date.

     

    SHIFTS: M-F

    Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in either Public Health Administration, Epidemiology, Public Health Statistics, Public Health Microbiology or Communicable Disease Control - AND - two years of experience performing assignments in mental health or public health program analysis. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in either Public Health Administration, Epidemiology, Public Health Statistics, Public Health Microbiology or Communicable Disease Control may be substituted for one year of the required experience; and

    • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

     

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Windows-based laptop or desktop device, with a speaker and mic;

    • Reliable Wi-fi/ir,ternet access;

    • Team player;

    • Excellent follow through ability;

    • Able to work with staff at all levels of the organization;

    • Diplomatic approach;

    • Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic;

    • Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills;

    • Detail-oriented; and

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

     

    JOB DUTIES

    a) Support the management and oversight of the ELC Grant budget;

    b) Work with Outbreak Investigator Supervisors (01S) and Case and Contact Interview Leads to troubleshoot administrative issues in the hiring and training of community case investigation and contact tracing staff;

    c) Solicit data and information from 0MB and CCIB teams and Finance to provide necessary reports and updates to the HPA 111;

    d) Understand internal control framework to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse;

    e) Effectively communicate eligible and Ineligible expenses to program staff;

    f) Comply with DPH training regarding confidential information related to personal information; and

    g) Accept responsibility for other duties as assigned.
