Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Health Program Analyst III (HPA III) Supervisor District Liaison. The Supervisorial District Liaison is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for the assigned Board of Supervisor Office and cities located within their district. The Liaison will primarily interact by phone and email with County and city elected officials, personnel, and referred constituents from the Board Offices, Department of Public Health leadership and Executive Office support staff. The HPA III also audit sector telebriefings to learn more about constituent concerns, recent changes and general information pertaining to the sector.

The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 2/22/2022 with potential renewal.

PAY RATE-

$59.27/hr working 40 hours a week

SHIFTS: M-F (100% TELEWORK)

Schedule will be M-F 8AM-5PM with an occasional weekend.

JOB DUTIES

· Respond to inquiries related to the Reopening Safer at Work and in the Community Health Officer Order, COVID-19 guidance, and related departmental activities. Strive to respond within 24 hours or as soon a determination is made;

· Log inquiries and responses into the SD Liaison Smartsheet tracking system in a timely fashion;

· Review and remain up-to-date on changes to the COVID-19 Health Officer Order, related protocols and guidance;

· Elevate complex or other issues for further determination or clarity to the Liaison supervisor and ICS chain of command, as needed;

· Contact internal Public Health staff to seek answers or further clarification at the direction of the Liaison supervisor;

· Attend required meetings, including:

o 9am SD Liaison meeting on Mondays and Thursdays

o 10am ICS meetings on Mondays and Thursdays

o 12pm Liaison Team Meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays

· When possible, audit sector telebriefings to learn more about constituent concerns, recent changes and general information pertaining to the sector. High advised to attend the Telebriefing for Elected Officials, City Managers, and County Departments.

· Periodic weekend coverage is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control -and- five years of experience in the analysis of mental health or public health programs. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control may be substituted for one year of the required experience; and

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Windows-based laptop or desktop device, with a speaker and mic;

• Reliable Wi-fi/internet access;
