Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Partner Agency Liaison to provide services for a county run program in the LA Region. The Programs Objective is to address the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on communities of color, low-income communities, and other highly impacted communities throughout LA County. Effective community outreach ensures that accurate and up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 reaches all communities, especially those that are most highly impacted by the virus and is delivered in a culturally appropriate way via credible messengers who have trust in their communities.

The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through December 30, 2020. There is a possibility that positions will be extended past the of this year, but there is no guarantee that this will be the case.

PAY RATE-

$46.98/hr working 40 hours a week ( Lots of opportunity for overtime)

HEALTHCARE

Employer Fully Funded Healthcare (Anthem Blue Cross), Dental and Vision, Life Insurance from Initial Start Date.

SHIFTS: M-F

Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university -AND- four years of experience in the analysis of public health programs. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

• Three years of supervisory experience.

• A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional understanding of general health disparities and unique impact of COVID-19 on communities of color, low-income communities, and other highly impacted communities throughout LAC.

• Windows-based laptop or desktop device with a speaker and microphone.

• Reliable Wi-Fi/internet access.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a team of supervisors and clerical staff effectively and professionally during a time of crisis.

• Experience coordinating community-based organizations to ensure that outreach is adapted to the needs of their population.

• Ability to address any elevated concerns or answer complex questions Partner Agencies may have regarding COVID-19 messaging.

• Possess proficiency with computers and software programs.

• Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic.

• Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills.

JOB DUTIES

a) Coordinate closely with assigned partner agency(ies) to provide technical guidance for the project;

b) Support Initiative Director and works with the in-house CHW management team to develop outreach and partnership plans for the overall project;

c) Evaluate the effectiveness of outreach and education services and operations provided and makes recommendations for initiative improvements as needed;

d) Develop and analyze protocols, best practices, guidelines, and policies and makes recommendations to Initiative Director regarding impact on outreach and educational services;

e) Comply with DPH training regarding confidential information related to personal information; and

f) Prepare written reports on initiative activities and on progress toward achieving the overall goals of the project.
