Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate needs for Health Program Analyst Grant Management to provide services in the Los Angeles Region. The Programs Objective is to investigate and oversee cases/outbreaks related to COVID-19 in settings that include, but are not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), shelters and encampments for people experiencing homelessness (PEH), congregate living settings, worksites, schools, daycares, and places of worship.

The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through July 30, 2021.

PAY RATE-

$42.15/hr working 40 hours a week ( Lots of opportunity for overtime)

HEALTHCARE

SHIFTS: M-F

Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in either Public Health Administration, Epidemiology, Public Health Statistics, Public Health Microbiology or Communicable Disease Control -AND- five years of experience in the analysis of mental health or public health programs. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in either Public Health Administration, Epidemiology, Public Health Statistics, Public Health Microbiology or Communicable Disease Control may be substituted for one year of the required experience; and • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize and alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Windows-based laptop or desktop device, with a speaker and mic; • Reliable Wi-fi/internet access; • Experience performing in a supervisory capacity; • Experience in operations and/or program administration; • Experience in auditing; • Experience in contract compliance and/or contract monitoring; • Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic; • Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills; • Detail-oriented; and • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

JOB DUTIES

a) Provide administrative oversight and management of the ELC Grant using best practices and independent judgment; b) Serve as the liaison between the ELC Grant Manager and the OMB and CCIB Leads; c) Analyze contract or grant requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and policies and procedures; d) Work with the Outbreak Investigator Managers and their Administrative Support Staff to troubleshoot administrative issues in the hiring and training of community case investigation and contact tracing staff;

e) Analyze data and information from OMB and CCIB teams and Finance Division to provide recommendations and updates to all overall ELC Grant Manager; f) Understand internal control framework to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse; g) Comply with DPH training regarding confidential information related to personal information; and h) Accept responsibility for other duties as assigned.
