Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate needs for Covid Outbreak Investigator to provide services in the Los Angeles Region. The Programs Objective is to investigate and oversee cases/outbreaks related to COVI D-19 in settings that include, but are not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), shelters and encampments for people experiencing homelessness (PEH), congregate living settings, worksites, schools, daycares, and places of worship.

The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through July 30, 2021.

PAY RATE-

$32.43/hr working 40 hours a week ( Lots of opportunity for overtime)

HEALTHCARE

Employer Fully Funded Healthcare (Anthem Blue Cross), Dental and Vision, Life Insurance from Initial Start Date.

SHIFTS: M-F

Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year's experience conducting investigations related to the control of communicable and/or non-communicable diseases; and

• A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Windows-based laptop or desktop device, with a speaker and mic;

• Reliable Wi-fi/internet access;

• Experience In investigation or inspection work in Public Health or Law Enforcement;

• Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic;

• Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills;

• Detail-oriented; and

JOB DUTIES

a) As directed by supervisor, conduct investigations and respond to health problems and hazards linked to COVID-19 outbreaks worksites and places of worship;

b) Assist in setting priorities and providing recommendations for worksites and daycares following public health protocols (i.e., B73);

c) Document clinical diagnosis or concerns to facilitate plan and expected outcomes;

d) Collect data from multiple sources including individuals and organizations related to the health of the residents in the SPA;

e) Identify, obtain, and interpret information to assist in the management of the cases/outbreaks of COVID-19; and

f) Comply with DPH training regarding confidential information related to personal information.
