    Job Description

    Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate needs for Nurse Instructors to provide services in the Los Angeles Region. The Programs Objective is to investigate and oversee cases/outbreaks related to COVI D-19 in settings that include, but are not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), shelters and encampments for people experiencing homelessness (PEH), congregate living settings, worksites, schools, daycares, and places of worship. The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through July 30, 2021. PAY RATE- $57.05/hr working 40 hours a week ( Lots of opportunity for overtime) BENEFITS: Holiday days Sick days (accrued) Vacation days (accrued) HEALTHCARE Employer Fully Funded Healthcare (Anthem Blue Cross), Dental and Vision, Life Insurance from Initial Start Date. SHIFTS: M-F Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In-Service Education: Three years' experience in the practice of professional nursing, one year of which may have been as a Clinical Instructor, and completion of 12 semester units, or their equivalent, of appropriate basic education courses from an accredited college or university. • Emergency Medical Systems Programs: Three years' recent experience in the practice of professional nursing in an acute care setting, one year of which must have been in an emergency department and included certification as a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse In Los Angeles County or eligibility for certification as a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse in Los Angeles County.

    • OR- At least one year's experience in monitoring and evaluating special services of Basic and Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services regulated under California Administrative Code, Title XXII. • A license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: • Windows-based laptop or desktop device, with a speaker and mic; • Reliable Wi-fi/internet access; • Ability to maintain a professional. positive attitude and work ethic; • Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills; • Detail-oriented; and • Excellent oral and written communications skills. JOB DUTIES a) As directed by supervisor, conduct trainings that provide 0MB with information on how to investigate COVID-19 outbreaks at SNFs, congregate residential settings, homeless shelters, homeless encampments, educational settings, worksites, and places of worship; b) Under the direction of the Assistant Program Specialist or Assistant Nursing Director, formulate and develop educational programs and materials to meet the Identified learning needs, and assess the effectiveness of orientation modules and making revisions as necessary; c) Maintain informational materials and course records, including sign-in lists, and provide Continuing Education Units to nursing staff; d) Develop and Implement the use of evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of training efforts; e) Comply with DPH training regarding confidential information related to personal information; and f) Perform other duties, as assigned, within the scope of a Nurse Instructor
