    Job Description

    Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Health Program Analyst 1 (HPA 1)- Liaison. The HPA Liaison will be responsible for establishing and maintaining connection and engagement with community sectors across LA county, among government agencies, education, community and faith-based organizations, labor, business, and other ensure strong bi-directional understanding of public health needs and the impacts of protective measures. The Liaison will primarily interact by phone and email with stakeholders.

    The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 2/22/2022 with potential renewal.

     

    PAY RATE-

    $43.88/hr working 40 hours a week

    HEALTHCARE

    Employer Fully Funded Healthcare (Anthem Blue Cross), Dental and Vision, Life Insurance from Initial Start Date.

     

    SHIFTS: M-F (REMOTE WORKER)

    Employee will be working a minimum of 8 hours a day between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.

     

    JOB DUTIES

    · Respond to inquiries related to the Reopening Safer at Work and in the Community Health Officer Order, COVID-19 guidance, and related departn Provide guidance on COVID-19 exposure management, infection control, and vaccine distribution plans

    · Draft written guidance on COVID-19 for stakeholders

    · Research Federal, State, and local policy and guidance on COVID-19

    · Log inquiries and responses into the customer relationship management tracking system in a timely fashion;

    · Review and remain up-to-date on changes to the COVID-19 Health Officer Order, related protocols and guidance;

    · Elevate complex or other issues for further determination or clarity to the Liaison supervisor and Incident Command System chain of command, as Contact internal Public Health staff to seek answers or further clarification at the direction of the Liaison supervisor;

    · Attend required meetings, including:

    · 10am ICS meetings on Mondays and Thursdays

    · 12pm Liaison Team Meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays

    · When possible, audit sector telebriefings to learn more about constituent concerns, recent changes and general information pertaining to the sectc Periodic weekend coverage is required.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    · A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control -AND- two years of experience performing assignments in mental health or public health program analysis. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control may be substituted for one year of the required experience; and

    · A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

    · Excellent reading comprehension

    · Political acumen Temperament to communicate with a variety of personalities in a tactful, pleasant, and professional manner; Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in fulfillment of Liaison duties
