    Job Description

    The Account Executive must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic "startup" type of environment without losing focus on business goals. This individual should possess a strong work ethic, be dependable and be able to build trust with internal stakeholders while remaining transparent, ethical, and compliant. They should also be experienced selling and presenting detailed scientific subject matter and approved promotional messaging in a clear and easy to understand fashion. DUTIES: •    Contact and establish relationships with skilled nursing, assisted living, long term care, and independent living facilities and home health companies to promote Healthstore’s pharmacy operations and physician services line  •    Develop short- and long-term direct sales and marketing strategies and tactics that maximize Healthstore’s growth and customer satisfaction •    Partner with sales and marketing colleagues to assist in pursuit of integrated medical/pharmacy opportunities •    Maintain understanding of Healthstore’s products, services, and value proposition •    Support new business marketing activities via joint meetings and marketing efforts as well as support for proposals •    Participate in prospect closure activities and finalist meetings •    Build relationships and communicate the Healthstore value proposition; create opportunities and assist with the RFP process •    Target prospects and actively promote Healthstore accordingly •    Identify additional markets and pursue as appropriate (e.g., TPAs, Managed Care, Self-funded, Insured) •    Understand and utilize sales reports, CRM, and forecasts •    Manage sales budgets within assigned territory •    Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals •    Partnership with other Healthstore departments to ensure the proposal and quoting process is fully developed, followed, and improved as appropriate key areas: pricing, proposal, clinical, operations •    Identification of gaps between what prospects are looking for and the Healthstore model •    Sales process management; maintenance of key prospects and consultants; tracking of and reporting on activity and results; prospect review to determine viability and if continued activity is warranted •    Maintain knowledge of industry trends, monitoring to help Healthstore remain competitive

    KEY COMPETENCIES: Sales: •    Understands how to qualify, prioritize, and concentrate selling efforts on new business opportunities by focusing on customer needs, values, and expectations; and/or understands how to identify and leverage business development opportunities to deliver an enhanced customer experience through innovative sales techniques; embodies the brand promise through value-added and consultative account relations activities, resulting in enhanced account persistency Strategy Development:   •    Translates overall company strategy and long-term goals into functional strategy; defines functional direction and initiatives as the basis for functional strategic and tactical planning; defines functional strategic goals and objectives: customer value chain, competitive Intelligence, strategic analysis, and the Healthstore business model •    Understands the competitive environment including Healthstore’s marketplace, industry, competition, and regulatory environment as well as understands how the components of Healthstore’s business model (i.e., strategy, finances, operations) make Healthstore competitive in the marketplace •    Understands 1) the Healthstore business processes, systems, tools, regulations, and structure and how they interrelate to provide products and services that create value for Healthstore customers, consumers, and key stakeholders; 2) how the value created for customers, consumers, and key stakeholders aligns with the Healthstore vision, business, culture, value proposition, brand promise, and strategic imperatives; and 3) the Healthstore past and present achievements and shortcomings to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks in relation to the competitive environment Implementation/Execution •    Effectively leverages available resources (finances, people, time) to accomplish objectives and maximize return on investment •    Makes appropriate decisions in the face of ambiguity; anticipates and resolves barriers and constraints

    REQUIREMENTS: •    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required  •    2-5 years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device or B2B sales experience •    2-5 years of sales/marketing experience in Long Term Care •    Solid understanding of how skilled nursing, assisted living, long term care, and independent living facilities function, and the needs of these facilities •    Knowledge of how patient care is delivered in the post-acute care environment •    Experience selling in a complex reimbursement and access environment preferred •    Product launch experience preferred •    Experience selling in highly competitive environment preferred •    Strong communication skills and demonstrated clinical acumen required •    Strong ability to collaborate, innovate, and deliver required results •    Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License required •    Ability to work independently and under pressure with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining a positive, helpful attitude •    Creative and innovative, self-motivated, and performance-driven
