As a part of the Healthtrax Fitness facility housekeeping staff you will notice trash or hazards from the minute you arrive on the premises until you leave and make sure issues are remedied. You will inspect the Fitness & Wellness Center building, grounds and equipment for general cleaning and upkeep. You help create stellar first impressions and keep members returning again.

It goes without saying that you arrive to work on time, prepared for the tasks at hand, flexible to adapt to those unexpected issues that arise (you know they will) and all the while maintaining a well-groomed appearance in compliance with company dress code. While you are able to work independently you are a team player. It is very important that your spoken and written communications must always be positive, clear and concise and professional.

We are looking for a professional commercial cleaner to join our team! You will help maintain our fitness facility standards by keeping a clean, safe, and welcoming space for all our members, staff and guests.

Part-Time Schedule Report to: Physical Plant Director

Responsibilities:

Greet every member and guest with a smile!

Clean and disinfect bathrooms, locker rooms and showers Note: woman's locker room attendant

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of gym equipment

Sweep, dust, vacuum, mop

Maintain material supply in assigned areas (towels, soap, tissue, coffee station etc.)

Empty trash receptacles throughout facility

Observe equipment for potential safety hazards

Enforce facility rules and regulations of business and abide by Company Handbook

Ensure offices and facility are kept clean and safe, inside and out

Document areas of concern, repair needs and complaints issued by members

Qualifications:

At least 1 year commercial cleaning experience, required

High School Diploma or GED

Proven experience working autonomously as well as getting along well with others

Reliable transportation, year round job

Upbeat and positive attitude!

Passion for health & fitness is a plus
